Dear passengers,
- Scope of Application
This notice applies to passengers traveling on Hainan Airlines flight HU7914 (Jeddah – Haikou) and subsequent connecting flights. Eligible passengers may check in Zamzam Water in accordance with the following requirements.
- Conditions for Carriage
To ensure flight safety and smooth ground handling operations, Hainan Airlines has established the following conditions for the transportation of Zamzam Water as checked baggage:
2.1 Source and Packaging Requirements
Zamzam Water must originate from officially authorized sources recognized by the Saudi government (e.g., King Abdullah Zamzam Water Distribution Center);
It must be packaged in sealed plastic containers certified by the official distribution center, and placed inside a cardboard box printed with the Zamzam logo;
The packaging must be intact and properly sealed, with no signs of leakage, damage, or unauthorized repackaging.
2.2 Quantity Limitations
Each passenger is allowed to check in only one (1) container of Zamzam Water;
The maximum weight of the container must not exceed 5 liters (approximately 5 kilograms);
The Zamzam Water container is not counted toward the passenger’s free baggage allowance and may be checked free of charge as an additional item;
Zamzam Water must be checked in separately and not packed inside the checked baggage;
Zamzam Water may not be carried into the cabin as hand luggage and must be checked in.
- The passenger’s checked baggage can only be accepted if the flight information on their ticket, as well as the water source and packaging, comply with the aforementioned requirements.
