An investigation has been launched after a “serious incident” involving an Aurigny aircraft.The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) said it had sent a team to Guernsey after it received reports of the incident which involved an aircraft as it approached the island’s airport on Wednesday. Aurigny confirmed it was working alongside relevant authorities to facilitate the investigation into the circumstances of flight GR101P. The airline said the flight, which had no passengers on board, landed safely at Guernsey Airport and “most importantly” its team were safe and well.
