Avianca Expands its Business Class experience to 80+ International Routes in the Americas

The airline will expand coverage of its Business Class experience to more than 40 international routes in the Americas starting in September.</em
With this expansion, the experience will be available on more than 80 international routes operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Flight tickets will now be available on routes that incorporate the Business Class cabin. Purchase can be made at avianca.com and other official sales channels.

Bogota, June 24, 2025. Within the framework of IATA Wings of Change Americas which launches in Bogota on June 25 and 26, avianca announces that it is consolidating its Business Class offering in the region, reaching coverage of more than 80 international routes with this cabin. This expansion allows the airline’s customers to access a different experience that combines comfort, preferential attention and onboard service designed for routes on the Americas in Airbus A320 aircraft.

“A year ago we returned with the Business Class experience on 11 routes on flights within the Americas from Bogota. Our passengers’ response was immediate, which is why we added 23 more routes in December. Today I am very happy because we are going to extend the service to all our routes from Bogota, Medellín and San Salvador. Thanks to the more than 500,000 customers who have placed their trust in our Business Class product, as well to as the teams that have made it possible,”, said Frederico Pedreira, CEO of avianca. .“This is definitely an example of how we listen to our customers and have a flexible model to be able to meet the needs of each segment, because at avianca, the sky belongs to everyone”, he added.

The Americas Business Class experience includes access to Premiumseats that can be reclined and which offer more space in the first three rows of the aircraft, plus charging ports, access to the entertainment system Avianca on air from mobile devices and a fare that includes a personal item, a piece of hand baggage weighing up to 10 kg and two pieces of luggage weighing 32 kg each. It also provides benefits such as pre-flight changes and refunds, priority services (check-in, delivery and baggage check-in, boarding), Avianca Lounges access and Lifemiles accrual of 10 miles for every dollar.
