Dear passengers,
In order to provide better service to passengers affected by Typhoon “Podul” and assist passengers to arrange itinerary, Hainan Airlines has issued special ticket processing regulations for Taipei route tickets, as follows:
I. Scope of Application
Applicable to tickets (including points redemption tickets) issued or exchanged with 880 international tickets before 21:00 on August 12, 2025, and the ticket includes at least one flight in and out of Taipei actually operated by Hainan Airlines from August 13, 2025 (inclusive) to August 14, 2025 (inclusive).
II. Ticket Refund and Change Rules
(1) Ticket Change
During the validity period of the ticket, if you change for the first time to a flight actually operated by Hainan Airlines within 3 days (inclusive) before or after the original flight and on the same route, you will be exempted from the change fee, but the difference between the original fare and the fare of the applicable class after the change, the price difference between off-season and peak season will be charged. Subsequent changes will be subject to the terms and conditions of the passenger ticket.
(2) Ticket Refund
During the validity period of the ticket, passengers can go to the original place of purchase to apply for a refund for unused flight segments without charging a refund fee. For tickets that have been changed according to the above-mentioned ticket change principles, if you apply for a refund, you must follow the terms and conditions of the passenger ticket.
(3) Voyage Change and Endorsement
The ticket terms and conditions applicable at the time of purchase shall be followed.
(4) Above changes and refunds can only be processed after the booked seat is cancelled before the scheduled departure time of the flight.
III. Others
(1) The ticket terms and conditions will apply to tickets that do not meet the above applicable conditions.
(2) This notice will come into effect from August 12, 2025. This policy does not apply to any ticket for which refund or change has been completed before it takes effect.
