More than one million people from across the region voted to honor the LATAM group with this distinction, highlighting the new Premium Business and Premium Economy cabins; onboard WiFi; lounges; and the Signature Check-In, exclusive to Black Signature and Black members.At the APEX Best Awards 2025 ceremony held in Dublin, Ireland, the LATAM group was recognized as the “Best Airline in South America,” a distinction granted thanks to the votes of over one million passengers from 600 airlines on TripIt, one of the world’s leading travel organization apps.
Among the features that led the airline to receive this recognition are the newly launched Premium Business cabins (more comfortable and private, with doors), pioneers of their kind in South America; the Premium Economy cabins, with the middle seat blocked and extra space; onboard WiFi, now available on 90% of narrow-body aircraft; the renowned lounges, especially the one in Santiago — the largest in the region; and the Signature Check-In in São Paulo and Santiago, an exclusive space for LATAM’s Black Signature and Black members, among others.
In specific markets, highlights included the collaboration with chefs from Brazil and Peru, who created dishes for the “Flavors That Transport” program. In Brazil, the strategic remote boarding alliance with Audi allows LATAM PASS Black Signature members traveling from or to Congonhas Airport in São Paulo to access a shuttle service to remote airport gates, using fully electric vehicles from the German manufacturer.

Since 2018, LATAM has consistently received awards in various APEX categories. These recognitions are joined by other distinctions received during the year, such as the “Best Cabin Interior” award at the 2025 PAX International Awards, and fourth place in the “On-Time Performance (OTP) Review 2024” ranking of airlines and airports worldwide in the Global Airlines category — being the only South American airline to rank within the top 5.
