Cebu Pacific said flights to Davao International Airport will go on as scheduled but added that the airline is also offering options to clients who may want to postpone their trips.Â
The Davao airport sustained only minor damage from the quake and remains operational, the Department of Transportation said.
Cebu Pacific however said that passengers who wish to postpone their trips, may avail of free rebooking or put the cost of the ticket in a travel fund. The offer is open to clients on flights scheduled on Oct. 10 to and from the following destinations:
- BoholÂ
- ButuanÂ
- Cagayan De OroÂ
- CebuÂ
- DavaoÂ
- General SantosÂ
- Tacloban Â
Passengers may avail themselves of their preferred option to two hours before their scheduled time of departure, the company said.
“The safety of our passengers and crew remains our top priority,” Cebu Pacific said.
But the Gokongwei-led airline also advised passengers that some flight changes may take place because of the situation.
“Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status and update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates,” the airline said.
