Fastjet Zimbabwe is expanding service between Johannesburg and Harare with flights aimed at business travelers.
In a statement, the carrier said it will add an early morning flight from Johannesburg to Harare, and a return flight from Harare to Johannesburg in the evening.
“We are always looking at providing our customers with flexible flight times to better suit their travel needs. In the past months, we have witnessed a growing demand from business people for an early morning departure from Johannesburg to Harare. Our Fastjet flight FN8220 now allows our customers an early morning departure from Johannesburg, resulting in a full business day in Harare,” said Vivian Ruwuya, Fastjet Zimbabwe’s chief commercial officer, in a news release.
New Flights
The new flights will start Sept. 29 and will operate daily with the exception of Saturdays. The service will use Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.
Fastjet Zimbabwe in April introduced three times weekly service between Harare and Lusaka, Zambia. The privately-owned airline also launched service between Victoria Falls and Bulawayo last month, operating four times a week.
