Frontier Airlines is taking its mission to connect more destinations to the skies. The airline is adding 22 new routes this year, including its first-ever flights to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. This expansion aims to boost tourism and open new travel opportunities for both business and leisure travelers.

The announcement comes on the heels of a recent 20-route expansion. Frontier’s aggressive approach contrasts with Spirit Airlines, which is pulling back and exiting several markets. As Spirit enters restructuring, Frontier seizes the chance to strengthen its presence. This shift is expected to increase tourism in these new destinations, which include both domestic and international routes. New Routes: A Game Changer for Tourism
Starting December 20, Frontier will offer weekly flights from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Providenciales International Airport (PLS) in Turks and Caicos. It’s the first time Frontier has offered service to this Caribbean destination. The route is set to meet the growing demand for travel to the islands.

In addition to Providenciales, Frontier is launching flights to Nassau, Bahamas, from Atlanta. These routes will help attract more travelers to the Caribbean, boosting tourism for both Nassau and Providenciales.

New Caribbean Routes from Atlanta
From Atlanta, Frontier will also add weekly service to St. Maarten, Puerto Vallarta, and San José del Cabo. This move opens up exciting opportunities for both American tourists seeking exotic destinations and local visitors eager to explore more of the Caribbean and Mexico.
New Domestic Routes to Memphis and Milwaukee
Beyond the Caribbean, Frontier is expanding domestically. Starting November 20, it will begin twice-weekly flights between Atlanta and Memphis. On December 19, it will launch another new route to Milwaukee, further solidifying its position in the domestic market.
International Destinations to Fuel Tourism Growth
Frontier’s new routes will also connect travelers to international destinations. In late December, Frontier will begin service from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Orlando (MCO) to Guatemala City, Guatemala. These flights will provide more access for tourists interested in exploring Central America.

Further enhancing its global reach, Frontier will offer flights from Orlando to San Salvador, El Salvador, starting December 20. Frontier will also add flights to San Salvador from Miami and Washington Dulles, which will support tourism growth in the country.

New Flights to Central America and the Caribbean
Frontier is expanding its reach into San Salvador and Guatemala City, offering travelers more choices for international travel. These new flights will promote tourism in both El Salvador and Guatemala, which are becoming increasingly popular as tourist destinations.

Tourism Boost from Washington, Miami, and More
Washington Dulles and Miami will see expanded service to San Salvador in December. This allows more tourists from the U.S. East Coast to explore El Salvador, a destination known for its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture.

Frontier is also introducing weekly flights between Orlando and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The new route from Orlando to San José, Costa Rica, will allow even more travelers to discover Central America’s hidden gems.

Flights to the Caribbean, Mexico, and Beyond
Additionally, the airline will launch weekly flights between Las Vegas and San José del Cabo on December 20. Other new flights include routes between Philadelphia and Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, and between Phoenix and Reno, Nevada. These routes all offer additional vacation options for travelers.

How Frontier’s Expansion Will Boost Tourism
Frontier’s route expansion opens new doors for travelers looking to explore untapped regions. The new flights will not only serve tourists but also support the local economies of the new destinations. As travel demand rises, tourism industries in these regions are likely to see increased revenue. With affordable fares and new options, Frontier’s aggressive expansion is set to enhance the overall travel experience.

For example, new flights to Providenciales and Nassau will directly benefit the tourism sector by offering easier access to these popular Caribbean destinations. Visitors can expect to enjoy pristine beaches, rich cultures, and a variety of outdoor activities.

In Guatemala, El Salvador, and Central America, Frontier’s expansion is expected to increase interest in these historically significant destinations. The flights will provide more options for travelers interested in culture, nature, and adventure.
