Jet2 has announced a partnership with Musement , a global tours and activities business, to offer an extensive selection of excursions, activities and attraction tickets for customers

Jet2 has announced a partnership with Musement , a global tours and activities business, to offer an extensive selection of excursions, activities and attraction tickets for customers travelling on a Jet2holidays package holiday or Jet2.com flight.

The new offering is set to be rolled out during 2026, initially to customers that have a direct booking with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays (including Jet2Villas and Jet2CityBreaks).

It will be rolled out to customers booking via an independent travel agent at a later date, giving agency partners a diverse portfolio of thousands of experiences to offer customers.

The Musement platform will enable independent travel agents to easily search and book an experience. The curated range of excursions, activities and attraction tickets has been designed with customer experience as the priority for Jet2 and Musement.

Steve Heapy, CEO at Jet2 said, “We are always looking at how we can further improve our incredible customer experience, and today’s announcement means our customers can choose from an even bigger selection of attractions and activities when enjoying their award-winning flights and holidays with us. Once live for our independent travel agency partners, this partnership with Musement will mean that they can offer a best-in-class choice of things to do, enhancing the Jet2holidays experience even further.”

Peter Ulwahn, TUI Musement CEO, added, “This is a very important strategic agreement for Jet2 and Musement, as well as being a significant partnership to drive growth of the Tours & Activities market. Furthermore, this partnership reaffirms Musement’s position as the leading B2B partner for Tours & Activities, and our team is ready to work with Jet2 in providing great experiences for their customers.”

Anyone travelling with Jet2holidays or Jet2 Airlines for their autumn break should follow a vital 12-hour rule. The company, which is the UK’s leading package holiday provider, shares important guidance on its website which passengers should check well before travelling.

According to Plymouth Live, it previously wrote: “Please check this section of the website at least 12 hours before your flight for the latest flight information. Further information can be found by using the [above] search panel by entering your flight number or route. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure time.”

Beyond this, passengers should also note: “Please remember – check in desks close 40 minutes before this.

“In the event of flight disruption our dedicated Operations teams are working hard behind the scenes at our UK-based HQ to get you on your way as soon as possible.” Jet2 operates from a host of airports including Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Manchester Airport, Glasgow Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Newcastle Airport, Leeds Bradford Airport, East Midlands Airport, Birmingham Airport, London Luton, London Stansted, Bristol Airport, and Bournemouth.

It also operates flights to more than 75 destinations across Europe and beyond.

When is the best time to book flights?

Getting affordable flight deals can sometimes seem challenging, but help is available. Skyscanner recently identified the best and worst times to buy international tickets, highlighting specific seasons and weekdays.

The travel comparison site examined historical data to identify these trends, while also addressing a frequently debated question about holiday planning: is it better to book well in advance or wait for last-minute bargains? Unfortunately, there is no straightforward fix for this issue, as Skyscanner emphasizes that it mainly depends on the destination.

While less popular routes or off-season travel dates may see prices drop significantly close to departure, popular destinations are likely to see prices rise sharply. Nevertheless, irrespective of the time of year, Fridays and Sundays are reportedly amongst the poorest times to reserve flights owing to heightened demand.

Data reveals that cheaper tickets are actually more common on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when bookings tend to decline.

“Based on past pricing trends, fares have dropped on Tuesday mornings after Monday deal releases,” Skyscanner wrote previously, according to the Liverpool Echo. When asked if prices decrease nearer a departure date, it added: “Sometimes, especially if seats are still available.

“But prices also tend to rise as departure nears. Last-minute deals exist, but they’re never guaranteed. You can also use the Skyscanner Savings Generator to find the best time to book flights based on your route.”

Skyscanner recommends booking short-haul flights at least one to three months in advance to avoid disappointment. For long-haul journeys, tickets should be booked two to six months prior to departure.

Anyone wanting to monitor fluctuating airfare prices can use Skyscanner’s notification feature. To activate it, choose your preferred route and click the ‘Get Price Alerts’ button located at the top left of the website.
