You might know that Emirates had already scheduled the end of A380 flights to Copenhagen. The plan, made long before the Iran war started, is for the route’s final superjumbo service to take place on May 31. This setup remains unchanged today. But will the two-class, non-first-class, 615-seater really return on May 1 and only operate in that spring month? Time will tell.

From June 1, Emirates will serve the Danish capital twice daily, which will be a record frequency. This will help to increase the airline’s competitiveness and market share. The three-class, 298-seat A350-900 will coexist with the two-class, 421-seat 777-300ER.

The big change means that Copenhagen will have 1,438 daily seats for sale, up 17% from when only the A380 was deployed. Premium economy will be available on the route for the first time, while business seats will rise by 16% and economy seats will increase by 12%.
