Delta Air Lines reported that several crew members were injured after a Sydney-bound flight encountered turbulence during descent.

Flight DL41 from Los Angeles to Sydney, operated by an Airbus A350 (tail number N524DN) with 245 passengers and 15 crew onboard, experienced what the airline described as “brief turbulence.” The aircraft landed safely, but the incident caused flight attendants to be thrown into the air.

Four crew members were injured, with three taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. No passengers were harmed.

Emergency services assessed five individuals in total. Delta emphasised that safety remains its top priority and that support is being provided to the affected crew members.

The flight arrived in Sydney as scheduled early in the morning, highlighting how even short periods of turbulence can lead to onboard injuries despite otherwise routine operations.
